GriefShare On Surviving Holidays Monday
WINONA LAKE – Winona Lake Free Methodist Church is offering a one-night GriefShare class called “Surviving the Holidays” at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
Facing a holiday after the death of a loved one can be more difficult than friends and even family members realize. This class will help those who are grieving survive the holidays and find strength, healing and tools to move forward through the pain of grief.
The class is free and open to anyone.

Noodle Supper Saturday At Morris Chapel
A noodle supper is planned from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Morris Chapel United Methodist Church.
The meal will include beef noodles, chicken noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans and desserts. A free-will offering will be accepted.
The church is at 1483 N. 575E, Warsaw.

Holiday Bazaar Saturday At First Brethren
First Brethren Church of Warsaw will have its 13th annual holiday bazaar from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
The bazaar will include a bake sale, door prizes and lunch.

Gospel Concert Is Sunday At Riverview
TIPPECANOE – The Jay Stone Singers of Hope Mills, N.C., will perform at 6 p.m. Sunday at Riverview Community Church, Tippecanoe.
The group began its ministry in 1976 to encourage the hurting, witness to the lost and motivate others to grow the kingdom of God. The family has traveled across the United States, Canada and Mexico, and has made several recordings.
There is no charge to attend the concert, but a love offering will be given.

Turkey Shoot Proceeds Will Aid The Needy
CLAYPOOL – The annual turkey shoot of Early Apostolic Bible Training Center is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday.
Cost is $3 per shotgun shell. In addition, sloppy joes, hot dogs, chili, coffee, hot chocolate, pop and water will be available.
All proceeds will go toward Christmas baskets for needy families.
The church is at the overpass bridge at Claypool.

Sacred Heart Celebrating Year Of Mercy
Sacred Heart in Warsaw will have its parish mission next week in celebration of the pope’s Year of Mercy.
Services are planned recognizing the vision of Pope Francis for a church of mercy. Monday’s focus will be mercy received and accepted; Tuesday, mercy extended and offered; and Wednesday, mercy exercised and enjoyed. All services begin at 6:30 p.m.
Featured speaker will be Father Ed Ruane, a Dominican friar of the province of St. Albert the Great. Ruane is pastor of St. Dominic Church in Denver, Colo. He has been a university professor and has strong experience in giving retreats and missions.
A social will follow each evening in the church gym. Transportation and child care will be available.
The church is at 125 N. Harrison St., Warsaw.

Chili Supper, Auction Nov. 13 In Leesburg
LEESBURG – The annual chili supper and auction of Leesburg United Methodist Church will begin at 5 p.m. Nov. 13.
The event will feature handmade crafts, baked goods, and donated services and goods. Mauk’s Auctioneering Services will conduct the auction.
Freewill donations will be accepted for the supper.
All proceeds will benefit church missions.
