Ricky Lee Groves, 53, Leesburg, died at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 31, 2016, in his Leesburg home.
He was born Dec. 1, 1962, in Warsaw, to Leland Herbert “Lee” and Mary Ann Birtwhistle Groves. He married Penny Hill on Nov. 15, 1993, in Leesburg
He was a Warsaw Community High School graduate and a graduate of Vincennes University with an associate degree in radio broadcasting. He was a lifetime Kosciusko County resident and a general laborer. 
He enjoyed bicycle riding, reading science fiction, playing video games and spending time with his son
Survivors include his wife, Penny Groves, Leesburg; a son, Collin Groves, Kokomo; a brother, Randy Groves, Warsaw; his mother- and father-in-law, Richard and Anna Clay, Warsaw; three brothers-in-law, Steven Hill, Wheatfield, and Jeff (and spouse Diane) Clay and James (and Nancy) Clay, both of Warsaw; a sister-in-law,  Brenda (and spouse Clark) Barefoot, Olathe, Kan.; and 13 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his parents, Mary Ann and Lee Groves.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday in Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw. 
A private graveside service is planned in Leesburg Cemetery.
