Zoners To Hear Request For Barn

The Warsaw Board of Zoning Appeals will revisit the request of Eric Wynn for a variance from developmental standards to construct an accessory structure 25 feet in height at 416 W. Center St.
Wynn appeared before the BZA last month, saying he plans to relocate a barn.
An investigation shows the proposed structure conforms to the zoning ordinance without a variance. It is 20 feet by 34 feet, or 680 square feet.
New business includes a request by Living Stones Preschool, 315 Cedar St., for a variance from developmental standards for a daycare/preschool with no outdoor play area.
The zoning ordinance calls for 55 square feet of outdoor play area per child.
The petitioner has allowed for 900 square feet of indoor play area. Hours of operation would be 9 to 11:30 a.m. and noon to 2:30 p.m. with a maximum of 20 children attending the day care.
A request by Construction Management, 604 N. Detroit St., for a variance from developmental standards for a 7-foot rear yard setback to construct a 11-foot by 40-foot, or 4,400 square foot, office building.
The requested setback is consistent with others in the neighborhood.
A request by KCOnline, 714 E. Winona Ave., for a variance from developmental standards for a 5-foot side yard setback and a 15-foot rear yard setback for an 80-foot-tall wireless communication facility.
Ordinance calls for 50-foot setbacks.
A request by Robert Brown, 1216 N. Park Ave., for a variance from developmental standards to expand a non-conforming structure from a single family home into a duplex.
The property is zoned R-2. [[In-content Ad]]
