Melvin and Joanna Alderfer Zimmerman, 12634 N. CR 300W, Milford, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 19.

They were married Aug. 19, 1950, by the Rev. Carroll Odell of First Christian Church, Warsaw.

Melvin is a retired farmer and she is a homemaker. They are members of Living Gospel Church, Nappanee.

They are the parents of three children, Tony (and spouse Ruth) Zimmerman and Barbara Zimmerman, all of Milford, and Terry (and spouse Brenda) Zimmerman, Goshen; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

They will celebrate with a family dinner.
