John and the former Rebecca Cauffman were married June 17, 1961
John retired from R.R. Donnelly & Sons, Warsaw. Rebecca retired as a school bus driver for Warsaw, Goshen and Fairfield schools.
The couple have three children: Marc (and spouse Deb) Zimmerman, Louisville, Ky.; Martha (and spouse Rich) Ekstrom, Goshen; and Mike (and spouse Melissa) Zimmerman, New Paris; and six grandchildren.
Their children will have an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. June 12 at New Paris Church of the Brethren, cabin 68170 CR 23, New Paris.
