Zale Pharmacy Target Of Robber; Methadone Stolen

Employees of Zale Pharmacy, East Center Street, Warsaw, reported the theft of 400-600 methodone pills after a man entered the store, holding a tire iron and demanding the drugs. The theft occurred about 2 p.m. Saturday when no customers were inside the store.

The man, described as being between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches, reportedly has dark hair and is believed to be in his late teens or early 20s. His face was covered by a blue T-shirt that read, "One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, four." Police recovered the shirt and tire iron at the scene.

The suspect reportedly fled the scene in a red car of unknown make and model.
