Denny Yoder, vinyl outdoor products industry veteran retired as president of Royal Outdoor Products on July 13, 2007, bringing his impressive 28-year career in the vinyl fencing, decking, railing and column markets to an official close. Royal Outdoor Products, a leader in vinyl outdoor home products, formed in 1997 when Royal Group Technologies Limited acquired Chore Time/Brock's vinyl extrusion manufacturing operations.

As the company's respected leader for 10 years, Yoder has been instrumental in making Royal Outdoor Products a trusted household name in vinyl fencing, decking, railing and columns. His consistent focus on managing business growth and acquiring the equipment needed to enhance their solutions has positioned the company for long-term success.

A founding member of the Vinyl Fence Deck and Railing Manufacturers Association and a past Board of Director of the American Fence Association, Yoder built a reputation of honesty, fairness and vision. His unrivaled commitment to standards and developing and improving products through his involvement in the American Society for Testing and Materials has ensured consumers have versatile, safe, affordable options.

Taking over Yoder's many responsibilities is Mark Seal, vice president of Outdoor Building Products for Georgia Gulf Corporation, North America's premier manufacturer of chlorovinyls, which acquired Royal Group in 2006. Yoder and Seal have worked closely together.

"Denny has established very high standards for the quality of work and leadership at Royal Outdoor Products," Seal said. "So I'm confident that the transition will be seamless. We're working collaboratively to ensure a successful leadership change and equally successful future for the company, all employees and other stakeholders."

"I will always cherish my years in the vinyl industry and most recently with Royal Outdoor Products. This company is like family to me, and I know with Mark at the helm, the talented people at Royal Outdoor Products will continue to make this company a leader in our industry, and a trusted source to our valued customers for years to come. I want to thank everyone for a rewarding and exhilarating experience," Yoder said.

Combining his philanthropic and adventurous sides, Yoder and his wife plan to do missionary work with the goal of giving back. Once retired, Yoder will also spend more time with his family.
