The YMCA’s Corporate Challenge, for the businesses of Kosciusko County, is offered to increase employee and community health and fitness, to build employee pride and dedication and to develop community spirit, according to a press release from the Y.
Participants spend quality time together working as a team, outside of the normal work environment.
This year’s participants to date are City of Warsaw, Kosciusko Community Hospital, Lake City Bank, OrthoPediatrics, Tecomet, Warsaw Community Schools, Wawasee Community Schools and Zimmer-Biomet.  There’s still room for more organizations if they register by April 15.
The opening ceremonies of the Corporate Challenge will take place April 22 and awards will be given May 1.
The 22 competitions include tug-a-war, corn hole, karaoke, pickleball, kickball, spike ball, 5k walk/run, a swim meet and more.
Contact Steven Kuhn with any questions at 574-269-9622 or [email protected]. See more information at www.kcymca.org.
The Y is the leading nonprofit committed to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the press release states. All the efforts and offerings of the Kosciusko Community YMCA are guided by the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Every day, the Y works side-by-side with neighbors to make sure everyone regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. In 2015, the Kosciusko Community YMCA provided $168,201 in financial assistance to make sure that happens.[[In-content Ad]]
