YEA! Half Way Through

July 28, 2016 at 4:25 p.m.

By Staff Report-

The Young Entrepreneurs Academy Tippecanoe Valley High School students are nearly half way through the year. Twenty-five students are currently working on 11 businesses, writing business plans and diving deep into the nuts and bolts of building a business. With the help of Valley teachers, Jeff Shriver and Melanie Mason, along with volunteer business mentors and Grace College instructors, the Warsaw Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce is able to bring this program to Tippecanoe Valley as a pilot program for a project-based learning class. The students will be presenting their business plans to an Investor Panel for funding March 13. The program is sponsored by the Auto Park, Paragon Medical, Rapid View LLC, and Maple Leaf Farms.
