Robert and Michelle Yantz, Warsaw, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kayla Yantz, Muncie, to James Berner III, Pierceton. He is the son of James Jr. and Carol Berner, Pierceton.

The bride-to-be is a supervisor at Cunningham Weatherspoon Agencies of American Income Life, Fishers. She graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 2010 and is currently attending Ball State University, studying organizational communication and interior design.

The groom-elect is a machinist at Paragon Medical,  Pierceton. He graduated from Whitko High school in 2003 and is currently studying network management at Westwood College.

The couple plan a July 14, 2012, wedding.
