Y Sets Basketball Registration

Registration is going on now for YMCA Youth Basketball and Youth Cheerleading, where children grades 2 through 4 can learn basic skills in a positive environment. The YMCA emphasizes participation, fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship and having fun over winning. Basketball games are played on Saturdays, with practices on Tuesdays or Thursdays starting the week of Jan. 14 and continuing through March 15. Cheerleaders will start the week of Jan. 14 with their first game on Jan 26.

Register until Dec. 3 online at www.kcymca.org or at one of the three branches. Call 574-269-9622 and ask for Jon Hoover for questions about basketball and Tonya Welsh with questions about cheerleading.

The Kosciusko Community YMCA, a not-for-profit organization, provides community-based programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all of Kosciusko County.
