Captain Donald M. and Barbara B. Wyand were married at the First Congregational Church, Greenville, Mich., on Aug. 19, 1945.

Having spent more than 30 years in the U.S. Navy, they resided all over the world, including England and Greece. Much of his service was as an attack carrier pilot. He then became Captian of the USS Kawishiwi before retiring. She was a homemaker raising three children and was invovled in charitable causes.

The couple have three children: Susan (and spouse Bill) Allen, Tippecanoe Lake; Donald (and spouse Silda) Wyland, Honolulu, Hawaii; and Nancy Stambler, Simi Valley, Calif.; six grandchildren; a step-grandson; and two great-grandchildren.

They are celebrating with a dinner at Tippecanoe Lake Country Club.
