The Ramada Wagon Wheel Theatre presents its fifth show of the 2010 summer season: "The Importance of Being Earnest."

The play runs Aug. 4-14. Single adult tickets are $30 for all shows. Tickets for students 13 through college are $16, and children 12 and under are $12. Opening nights and matinees are $22 for seniors. Special rates are available for groups of 15 or more.

To order tickets or for more information about upcoming events at the Wagon Wheel Theatre in Warsaw, call the box office at 574-267-8041 or toll-free at 866-823-2618. You can also visit online at www.wagonwheeltheatre.com

When the theater opens Oscar Wilde's classic comedy, "The Importance of Being Earnest", audiences can again expect a laugh-out-loud experience.

"Earnest" follows two aristocratic young bachelors, Algernon and Jack, as they delight in masquerading under assumed identities (bunburying, as Algernon calls it). When their charade is used to woo two pretty young socialites who are determined to marry someone by the name of Ernest, a near riot ensues.[[In-content Ad]]The creative team behind last season's highly lauded "Brighton Beach Memoirs" will direct this "Earnest". Ben Dicke and Andy Robinson, long-time Wagon Wheel performers, are excited to make every moment of the play live and breathe and connect with today's audiences every bit as much as it did when the show premiered at the St. James Theatre in London Feb. 14, 1895.
