The Wawasee wrestling team lost its first two matches at Saturday's Merrillville Duals, but came back to win its last three. Beginning with Chesterton, Wawasee fell 39-35, then lost to Yorktown 42-27, before coming back to defeat Harrison 39-28, Kankakee Valley 37-30 and West Lafayette 52-8. Individually, Dimitri Kaplanis (285) and Ryan Lindsey (160) each went 5-0, while Greg Griffith (106), Kyle Clevenger (138), Brian Clark (182) and Chad Eppley (220) all went 4-1. The Warriors are back in action Thursday at Warsaw.
