NORTH MANCHESTER – Woodrow V. “Woody” Howe, 77, of North Manchester, died at 11:15 p.m. April 8, 2013, in Peabody Healthcare Center, North Manchester.
He was born Nov. 19, 1935, in Visalia, Calif., to Robert Craven Jr. and Leona M. Carrothers Howe. On Sept. 21, 1974, he married Pamela A. Ford, who survives.
He worked with his father and brother at Moss Brothers Egg Products. Later and until his retirement, he was an egg commodities grader for the U.S. Department of Agriculture. After retirement he worked part time at Shepherd’s Chevrolet, North Manchester, picking up and delivering vehicles. He graduated from West High School, Denver, Colo., where he was active in ROTC. He later received a bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colo.
Also surviving are a son, Mark (and spouse Lisa) Howe, West Allis, Wis.; a daughter, Victoria (and spouse Hank) Ioerger, Longmont, Colo.; a brother, John Howe, Thornton, Colo.; and a granddaughter.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at McKee Mortuary, North Manchester, with the Rev. Sue Babovec officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
No calling is planned.
