The bride-to-be is a shift supervisor at Whitley County Work Release, Columbia City. She graduated from Southwood High School, Wabash, in 2006, and earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and a minor in psychology from Trine University in 2010.

The groom-elect is a patrolman for the Warsaw City Police Department. He graduated from Wawasee High School, Syracuse, in 2006, and earned a bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Trine University in 2010.
