Tera Wong, Oviedo, Fla., and Jake Neer, Oviedo, announce their engagement and plan to marry Aug. 8 at the Century Center, South Bend. She is the daughter of Tonya and Jeff Satoski, Warsaw, and John and Joan Wong, Flower Mound, Texas. He is the son of Jennifer and Giles Neer, Akron.

The bride-to-be is a systems engineer at Lockheed Martin, Orlando, Fla. She is a 2002 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School; earned a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from Purdue University in 2007; and is attending Central Florida University for her master's degree.

The groom-elect works at Certified Aviation Services, Orlando. He is a 2001 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School and is attending the University of Central Florida. He completed four years in the U.S. Air Force and is serving as a member of the National Guard.[[In-content Ad]]
