Woman Arrested In Webster On Meth Charges

NORTH WEBSTER - A Fort Wayne woman was arrested Friday by Kosciusko County officers after police received an anonymous tip of drug activity.

Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers and Sheriff's Department detectives responded to an anonymous tip of possible meth production in a secluded area southeast of North Webster Friday at approximately 11:48 a.m.

Detectives and Drug Task Force officers located a Chrysler Le Baron down a long lane off of CR 925E near CR 500N in Kosciusko County.

Officers arrested Brandie Jean Morrow, 35, of 4503 Plaza Drive, Fort Wayne, on preliminary charges of dealing methamphetamine, a Class D felony, after a one-pot method methamphetamine lab was located in her vehicle.

The Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team was called to the scene to secure the one-pot meth lab.

Officers also determined Morrow had an outstanding failure to appear bond issued from Noble County. Morrow is being held on a $10,000 bond for the Kosciusko County drug charge, but there is currently a "no bond" being held for her arrest in Noble County.

Kosciusko County Sheriff Rocky Goshert stated that concerned citizens in the community were instrumental in this arrest.[[In-content Ad]]Goshert said the public can call the Kosciusko County tip line at 574-372-2494 seven days a week, 24 hours a day to leave their anonymous information for any criminal activity in Kosciusko County.
