WINONA LAKE – Dan King, Winona Lake postmaster, said there was an apparent theft of the black hockey pucks the Winona Lake Post Office had on the picnic table as part of the checker board in front of the post office. If these are not returned, the post office will probably not be able to continue to offer the game, King said.
He said there were two complete sets of “checkers” Tuesday night when he closed the office, and all of the black ones were not there when he opened the office Wednesday morning.[[In-content Ad]]
