WINONA LAKE – The Winona Literary Club met Wednesday at the Russell Center.

RoseMarie Henning, president, welcomed all members and guests.

Jan Remington, musician, favored them with three favorites “Who Am I?”, “Draw Me Nearer, Lord” and “Jesus, You Kept the Faith in Me.”

Wanda Cullison, dietician at the Wellness Center, Warsaw, brought the program “Picture This ... Good Health”. She gave four important things to do to help improve our health: Eat right, take your supplements, be more active and know your numbers. She urged them to take the steps needed to improve our health and gave hand outs on “easy to do” exercises with Thereabands. She also informed them about the many classes they have at the Wellness Center that are available to all.

Refreshments were served by hostesses Bonnie Church, Peaches French, Glenna Shuter and Helen Shoemaker, with Karolyn Barris providing coffee and tea.

The next meeting will be Oct. 19 with Dr. Don DeYoung talking about the “Amazing facts of God’s World.”

Guests are welcome.[[In-content Ad]]
