Winona Lake Seeking Town Marshal

It was announced at Tuesday’s town council meeting that current Town Marshal Paul Schmitt is retiring effective April 1.
Applications for town marshal will be accepted through March 5 at noon.
Applications are available at the clerk-treasurer’s office, 1310 Park Ave., Winona Lake.
To be considered for the position, the qualified applicant must have at least eight years of law enforcement experience and the candidate must have successfully passed the pre-basic course through the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. Salary commensurate with experience, according to information provided by Town Coordinator Craig Allebach.
