Winona Lake Plans MLK Day

It is Jan. 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Rodeheaver Auditorium in Winona Lake.
The 24th annual program titled “Living the Dream” will include a drama by Warsaw area high school students under the direction of Dana McAfee, Warsaw Community High School, and the presentation of the two 2012 Academic Excellence award winners.
WCHS students were challenged to capture a theme from Dr. King’s “I Have A Dream” speech.
The winning drawings will be presented at the ceremony and t-shirts imprinted with the drawings will be available for purchase before and after the program.
This year’s program chairman is Jerry Bloch, Kosciusko County Convention and Visitors Bureau president.
The program is free and open to the public. Lunch will be provided and donations are welcome at the luncheon.
