He was born Dec. 1, 1928, in Warsaw, to William H. and Katherine Kintzel Hill. On Dec. 20, 1952, in Gary, he married Barbara Moore, who survives.
He was a tool and die maker, retiring from GTI, Leesburg, in 1992. He was a 1947 Warsaw High School graduate, and graduated from DeVry Technical Institute. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and American Legion Post 49. He served with the Army from 1948-52, during the Korean War.
Also surviving is a brother, James S. Hill, North Webster.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Leesburg Cemetery, with military honors.
No calling is planned.
