William Howard Clark, 64, Larwill, passed away at 11:46 p.m. Aug. 25, 2014, at his residence surrounded by his family.
He was born Oct. 5, 1949, in Lynch, Ky., to Oscar Howard and Grace Ellen Cody Clark. On Dec. 21, 1974, in Pierceton he married Shirley Wyland, who survives in Larwill.
He retired in 2001. He attended the Larwill Wesleyan Church. He enjoyed lawn care and mowing, working on automobiles, spending time with his family and helping others, be it home or auto repair or offering guidance. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Also surviving are three daughters: Kristin (and spouse Dan) Davis and Shelley Clark (and  fiancé Shawn Sapp), all of Larwill; and Rachael Clark (and fiancé Jesse Sell), Columbia City; three brothers: Darrell Clark, Pierceton; Ron Clark, Fort Wayne; and Bruce Clark, Columbia City; four sisters: Melinda (and spouse Clark) Taulbee, Columbia City; Brenda (and spouse Lance) Colbert, Williamstown, Ky.; Joyce (and spouse Jim) Sherman, Cromwell; and Lisa  Barrett (and spouse Mike Gulley), North Webster; eight grandchildren: Lucas, Brianna and Braxton Clark; Adrianna Jefferson; Waylon Milledge; Desmond, Rylan and Wyatt Davis; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters and one niece.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Tom Beck officiating. Burial is in South Park Annex Cemetery, Columbia City.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
