William F. Little, 90, died at 2:10 a.m. Dec. 27, 2007, at Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester.

He was born Nov. 1, 1917, in Claypool, to Roy V. and Phoebe Timmberman Little. On Nov. 10, 1946, in Claypool, he married Earlene Heagy, who died Jan. 9, 1989.

He was a lifetime Claypool resident and a farmer. He was in the U.S. Army, serving in World War II. He was a Purple Heart recipient and was honorably discharged Oct. 17, 1945.

Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn M. (and spouse John) Williamson, and Christine Little, all of Claypool, and a sister, Mary Little, Winona Lake. He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth William Little.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Graceland Cemetery, Claypool.

Calling is from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw.
