He was born Oct. 17, 1925, in Amboy, to Oba J. and Anna Yoder Miller. On Feb. 26, 1949, in Amboy, he married Ruby Miller, who survives in Wakarusa.
He was a retired truck driver and had recently worked for NewMar Corp. He attended Wakarusa Missionary Church.
Also surviving are a son, Larry (and spouse Pam) Miller, Edgar, Wis.; two daughters, Donna (and spouse Terry) Martin, Wakarusa, and Diane (and spouse Jay) Yoder, Chicago, Ill.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four sisters: Mattie (and spouse Floyd) Beachey, Kolona, Iowa; Lydia (and spouse Ernie) Beachey and Elsie (and spouse Don) Horner, both of Kokomo; and Erma (and spouse Ray) Nissley, Goshen; and a brother, Menno (and spouse Irene) Miller, Kokomo. He was preceded in death by a son, a sister and three brothers.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Wakarusa Missionary Church with Pastor Kent Norr officiating. Burial will be in Union Center Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee, and one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.
