He was born Aug. 17, 1942, in Staffordsville, Ky., to James and Addie Tackett Frazier, who preceded him in death. He married Dorothy C. Vanhoose, who survives.
Living most of his life in Warsaw, he worked at R.R. Donnelley & Sons for 25 years; owned and operated Video World for 26 years; and was a work release officer for the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Dept. for more than 10 years, retiring Aug. 1, 2009. He was a member of Free Will Baptist Church, Staffordsville, Ky.; the Metal Detectors Club of Goshen; and Warsaw American Legion 49. He attended Living Hope Ministries, Warsaw. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He enlisted April 4, 1968, and served in Vietnam. He was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Ribbon with Device 1960, the Expert Badge with Auto Rifle Bar and the Marksman Badge M-16. He was honorably discharged April 3, 1970.
Also surviving are a son, Jason L. (and spouse Lucia) Frazier, Troy, Ohio; a daughter, Deanna L. (and spouse Joseph) Warren, Warsaw; two stepdaughters, Anita L. (and spouse Rick) Neeley, Etna Green, and Diana J. (and spouse Marty) Shepherd, Evans, Ga.; nine grandchildren; three brothers: Samuel (and spouse Jean) Frazier, Thomas (and spouse Donna) Frazier and Beecher (and spouse Judy) Frazier, all of Staffordsville; and two aunts, Alice Brown, Warsaw, and Bobbie Watkins, Elizabethtown, Ky. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Frazier.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Living Hope Ministries, Warsaw, officiated by the Rev. Wayne Whitaker of the church. Burial will be at a later date.
Calling is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw.
