William “Bill” F. Hamilton Jr., 75, Warsaw, passed away at 9:43 a.m. March 10, 2014, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
He was born Oct. 7, 1938, in Walkerton, to William A. and Madeline Schaffer Hamilton, who preceded him. On July 21, 1979, in Plymouth, he married Sandra L. Hinchy, who survives.
He retired from the United States Agriculture Meat and Food Inspection Department. He was a member of Kemrad (Kosciusko Emergency Radio). He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping at Jellystone Park, traveling to casinos and the Chicago Cubs.
Also surviving are a son, Brad (and spouse Angel) Hamilton, Warsaw; three daughters: Cathy (and spouse David) Rapp, Dawn (and spouse Roger) Ransbottom, both of Warsaw, and Rochella (and spouse Stephen) Ransom, North Judson; two sisters, Louise Alsop, Shady Cove, Ore., and Marie Walls, Mishawaka; 12 grandchildren: Chrissy, Cheyenne, Sarah, Karrin, David, Tyvan, LauraBeth, Daren, Alan, Brycelyn, Mackenzie and Maxwell; 10 great-grandchildren: Jordan, Ezra, Kylie, Mia, Presley, Chloe, Jayda, Jaycee, Canton and Colt; and several nieces and nephews. Also preceding him was a brother, Lawrence Hamilton.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastor Terry Bradford officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 tp 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
