William “Bill” Edward Barden, 77, Warsaw, passed away comforted by his wife Jan. 25, 2016, at his winter residence in Wilmington, N.C.
He was born Nov. 17, 1938, in Jackson, Mich., to Julius and Irene Tebo Barden. On Nov. 12, 1960, in Millersburg, he married Janet Moser, who survives in Warsaw. They shared 55 years of marriage together before he passed.
He was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 35 years. He was a 1957 graduate of Elwood High School and a 1960 graduate of International Business College, Fort Wayne. He worked for many years in the Detroit, Mich., area at Owens-Illinois and Aero Box. He also worked for 26 years at the Stephen Gold Corporation in the packaging sales department. He retired in 2002 and was able to enjoy traveling, and was an avid golfer. He was a member of Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church, Warsaw, and he attended Kure Beach Memorial Church, Kure Beach, N.C. Most of all, he loved his family … he was a loving husband, dad and grandfather.
He will be lovingly remembered by a son, Kirk (and spouse Crystal) Barden, Warsaw; a daughter, Kelly Morgan, Chandler, Ariz.; and two grandchildren,  Kelaney and Noah. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church, Warsaw, with Pastor Galen Drawbaugh officiating.
Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.
