Wiley Receives Scholarship

ELMHURST, Ill. - Lindsay Wiley, Warsaw, is a recipient of the Don Sveen Scholarship for Accounting Majors for the 2007-08 academic year.[[In-content Ad]]Sveen established three scholarships to be awarded by the Center for Business and Economics to undergraduate or graduate students majoring in accounting. Applicants are required to maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and demonstrate financial need. Scholarships are based on a combination of factors, including academic achievement, financial need, a letter of recommendation from an Elmhurst College professor, and a 1,000-word essay on why ethical issues are important to the future of business and the student's place in the future.

Wiley, a senior accounting major at Elmhurst College, is a Tippecanoe Valley High School graduate. She is the daughter of David and Linda Wiley, Warsaw.
