WABASH - The Whitko Wildcats bounced back from last week's 47-26 loss to Oak Hill to beat Northfield 14-0 Friday evening.

Whitko rushed the ball 48 times for 263 yards. Halfback Bryan Rose scored the first Wildcat touchdown on a 57-yard run with 37 seconds left in the first quarter.

Northfield finished with 109 yards on 36 carries.

Fullback Keith Starkweather scored Whitko's second touchdown on a four-yard carry in the third quarter with 23 seconds left.

Rose ended the game with 106 yards on 13 carries, while quarterback Jimmy Linn had 74 yards on 14 carries.

Northfield is 2-3 overall and 1-3 in the TRC.
