SOUTH WHITLEY — Pending Whitko School Board approval, Gordon Mosson will become the school’s new boys basketball coach.
Mosson has served as an assistant coach with the Triton Trojans the past two seasons.
Prior to going to Triton, Mosson was the head coach at John Glenn High School between 1983 and 2007, compiling a 365-198 career record.
During his time at Glenn, he won four sectional titles as well as a regional championship in 2005.
Mosson also guided the team to 12 Northern State Conference titles.
If approved, he would fill in for current Whitko Athletic Director Rob Irwin, who stepped down at the end of the season after seven years at the helm of the program.[[In-content Ad]]
