Thomas and Janie Whitehead, Warsaw, announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Marie Whitehead, Fort Wayne, to Michael Joseph DeVos, Angola.
He is the son of Jim and Theresa DeVos, Angola.
The bride-to-be is a first grade teacher at Fort Wayne Community Schools. She graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 2006 and from Ball State University in 2010, where she studied elementary education.
The groom-elect is a sixth grade social studies teacher at DeKalb Middle School, Waterloo.
He graduated from Angola High School in 2006 and from Trine University in 2010.
The couple plan a June 20 wedding at Saint John Fisher Catholic Church, Fort Wayne.

ATWOOD – The congregation at Atwood Otterbein Church will celebrate the 98th anniversary of the building of their church at 306 E. Main St., Atwood, on Sunday at their 9:30 a.m. service. The congregation celebrates its Heritage Day each May.
