Frank Whitehead and the former Diana Percha were married Jan. 9, 1960, at Sacred Heart Church, Mt. Pleasant, Mich., by the Rev. Father Raymond Moeggenberge, celebrant.
He retired from Skelgas and Trico Pipeline. She is a homemaker.
The couple have eight children: Connie (and spouse Willis) Pratt and Thomas (and spouse Janie) Whitehead, all of Warsaw; James (and spouse Shirley) Whitehead, St. Mary's Kan.; Linda (and spouse Dave) Schroeder, Fort Wayne; Mark (and spouse Lana) Whitehead, Canfield, Ohio; Patricia (and spouse Kurt) Brandon, Bourbon; Susan (and spouse Brian) Poe, Carmel; and Kristine (and spouse Paul) Schneider, San Diego, Calif.; 46 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
They celebrated by repeating their wedding vow at an anniversary mass by the Rev. Father Frank Riccomine, celebrant, at St. John Fisher Church, Fort Wayne, on Jan. 16. Dinner for family was held at the Schroeder residence following the ceremony. A family camping trip at Turke Run State Park was held last summer in honor of the couple.
