The couple have three children: James (and spouse Barbara) Whitaker, Sam (and spouse Jennifer) Whitaker, and Kay (and spouse Tom) Miller, all of Warsaw. They have 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The couple will celebrate the anniversary with an open house at Lighthouse Church Fellowship Hall, Warsaw, from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday.
