Wayne and Vada Whitaker, 1314 Cardinal Drive, Warsaw, IN 46580, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary March 6, 2011.

Wayne and the former Vada McKenzie were married March 6, 1961, in Berrien Springs, Mich.

Wayne spent several years as a sales representative for a manufacturing company and is the co-founder of Living Hope Ministries. Vada is a housewife, enjoys babysitting for their grandchildren and is active in helping with church activities.

The couple have two daughters, Michele (and spouse Scott) Wickens and Jennifer Craft, all of Warsaw; and three grandchildren.
