Joe and Sharon Whicker, Warsaw, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 9, 2010.

Joe and the former Sharon Pippenger were married Oct. 9, 1960, at Warsaw First Brethren Church by the Rev. Robert Fields.

He retired from General Motor, Marion.

They have three children: Joe (and spouse Charlotte) Whicker, Elkhart; Linda Bueshart, Huntington Beach, Calif.; and Amy (and spouse Greg) Barry; and three granddaughters.

The couple will celebrate with a family dinner and are planing a trip at a later date.[[In-content Ad]]
