What Happened To Jackie?

When Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence, he was intentional when he said that we have the natural right to life first. Jefferson wanted all who came after him to recognize that life was the most precious right that we had and that all who were to come after him would uphold this universal right.
I believed that Jackie Walorski was going to be one of those people, and for a time, it appeared that she was. However, in the last couple of years, I question Walorski’s stance on life. She pulled co-sponsorship over a bill that would ban abortions after 20 weeks (see www.lifenews.com/2015/01/29/pro-life-group-calls-for-defeating-pro-life-lawmakers-who-sabotaged-20-week-abortion-ban/). We can feel pain now and we are already living, a person who is at 20 weeks can also feel pain – how can you be pro-life, yet say that someone at 20 weeks might not feel pain?
The second act was when she supported the Paul Ryan budget deal, which gave money to Planned Parenthood. Even if that money isn’t directly used for abortions, the federal government giving our tax dollars to a group that provides abortion is irresponsible. It is bad enough to give money that we do not have out, but to give that money to a group that is not pro-life at all is horrid. Even if Planned Parenthood only did one abortion a year, that is one abortion too many in this country.
I want someone who will go to Washington and fully defend life. Her voting record on life has shown that she is starting to waver to the political establishment in Washington. This is why I support Jeff Petermann in the Republican primary, a man of faith, and a man who will defend Jefferson’s vision that life is natural and it must be defended.
