WHA Approves Financial Reports

By Staff Report-

At a special meeting Monday, the Warsaw Housing Authority board approved financial reports for the months ending Aug. 31 and Sept. 30.

On Nov. 23, approval of the reports at the board's regularly scheduled board meeting was delayed to allow the agency's treasurer to do the reports differently because the allocations were not as the board thought they should have been.

The board believed a July expense relating to administrative salaries needed to be repaid to WHA. After the financial reports were reviewed, it was discovered the expense did not need to be repaid to WHA as it was a Housing Opportunities of Warsaw Inc. expense, WHA director Angie Shirk said Tuesday.

Sherri Ruggier-Milton, WHA board treasurer, told the board Monday the consolidated finances for WHA were OK. The administrative salary line-item needed to be line-itemed differently was all.

The WHA board will have its next meeting Dec. 20 at 5:15 p.m. in the law office of Lemon, Armey, Hearn & Leininger, North Buffalo Street, Warsaw. [[In-content Ad]]
