Michael and Gloria Monesmith and Bryon and LuAnn Wells, all of Warsaw, announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey A. Wells, Nappanee, to Christopher "Chip" Jankowski Jr., Nappanee, son of Michael and Sandra Paczkowski, Bremen, and Christopher Jankowski Sr., South Bend.

The bride-to be graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 2004 and attended International Business College.

The groom-elect is a 1999 graduate of LaVille High School.

A June 30 wedding is planned.

Kathleen N. Anderson-Takacs, 84, of Pierceton, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne. Kathy was born on Aug. 14, 1940, in Prestonsburg, Ky., to Darwin and Jane Gibson. On April 17, 2004, she married Bill Takacs in Gatlinburg, Tenn., who survives.
