Welfare
Editor, Times-Union:
There is a big push by Tea baggers and their Republicrat co-conspirators, along with some very wealthy Demoncrazies, to drastically slash government spending. To us unwashed peasants, that also means cutting the debt. The loudest voices screaming for this are certain hypocrites in Congress.
They think a lot differently than we do. When meeting here at local churches (where else?), they rant about those “horrible welfare recipients” (as food prices skyrocket) – never dare mentioning that their own hands continually reach deeply into the pork barrel.
Rep. Fincher, Rep. Hartzler, Sen. Tester, Rep. Latham and last but not least Marlin Stutzman, are all on welfare themselves! They have received over $6 million in farm subsidy welfare.
Marlin Stutzman and his family alone have received $998,000 of this welfare since 1995.
Farm subsidies are part of a program originally meant to support farmers caught in times of distress – not as ongoing largesse for the rich! Now Marlin, what did you say about cutting the debt?
You first! It's supposed to be tea bags, not money bags.
