Amanda Michelle Weigandt and Leighton Andrew Wells were married Sept. 15, 2007, at St. Martin de Porres Church, Syracuse, with Father Dermot Gahan, Ireland, officiating. The bride is the daughter of Richard and Juliana Weigandt, Minster; the groom's parents are Jeff and Cindi Wells, Syracuse.

Matrons of honor were Abi Bardasian, twin sister of the bride, and Dee Dee Bender, sister of the bride. Junir bridesmaid was Madyson Bender, niece of the bride. Bridesmaids were Julianne Weigandt, sister-in-law of the bride; Cassandra Wells, sister of the groom; and Jill Woodka, Claire Ksiazek, Carrie Leary and Courtney Jarrell. Flower girls were Savannah Weigandt, godchild of the bride; Ireland Bender, niece of the bride; and Shania Weigandt, niece of the bride.

Best men were John Glon and Luke Baker. Groomsmen were Todd Weigandt, brother of the bride; Doug Bardasian and Stan Bender, both brothers-in-law of the bride; Chad Wortinger; Adam Heckaman; and Brad Hursh. Ring bearer was Tag Bender, godchild of the bride. Little groomsmen were Stone and Guy Weigandt, nephews of the bride.

A reception was held at Tippecanoe Country Club, Leesburg.

The bride graduated from Minster High School and Miami University of Ohio. She is employed as a pharmaceutical representative for Roche Laboratoriees.

The groom is a graduate of Wawasee High School, Syracuse, and Purdue University. He is employed as an implant sales representative for DePuy Spine.

The couple spent a honeymoon in the French Riviera and Provence, France.[[In-content Ad]]
