NORTH MANCHESTER – Wedd Miller, 68, Silver Lake, died at 8:30 p.m. April 13, 2014, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.
He was born May 9, 1945, in Salyersville, Ky., to Carl and Lola Bailey Miller.
He retired from Dalton Foundry after 35 years. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge, Warsaw. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping, and liked watching old westerns and Chuck Norris movies. He was an avid gardener, and loved to play cards.
Surviving are his longtime companion, Lenora F. Penn, Silver Lake; three sons: Robert P. (and spouse Tammie) Miller and Michael R. Miller, all of Warsaw, and Kameron Miller, Silver Lake; four daughters: Cindy M. (and spouse Richard) Martin, and Angela Miller, all of Warsaw; Thelma (and spouse Rick) Ehrick, Silver Lake; Tammy Prater, Liberty Mills; four brothers: John Miller, Peru; Cecil, James and Joe Miller, all of Leslie, Mich.; three sisters: Emogene Storey, Huntington; Martha Anne Burnsworth, Moncks Corner, S.C.; Mary Sue Nichols, Fernadina, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at McKee Mortuary, 1401 Ind. 114W, North Manchester, with Pastor Dean Ealey officiating. Burial is in Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
Calling is from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
