Paul and Annette Weaver, Warsaw, announce the engagement of their daughter, Wendy Weaver, Warsaw, to Landon Cornell, Leesburg. He is the son of Gene and Mary Cornell, Leesburg.

The bride-to-be graduated from Warsaw Community High School in 2007, and is earning a bachelor's degree in athletic training from Indiana Wesleyan University, graduating in December 2010.

The groom-elect is a 2006 WCHS graduate and is earning a bachelor's degree in mechanical and industrial technology from Ivy Tech Community College, Warsaw, graduating December 2010.

The couple plan a Jan. 1, 2011, wedding.
