WCS Back-To-School Days Set Monday And Tuesday

“Back to School Days” for Warsaw Community Schools will take place  Monday from noon to 6 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The office staff and computer lab will be available for those who have not previously registered online, for parents needing additional information for the 2012-2013 school year, and accepting textbook rental payments.
School Food and Nutrition Services and Transportation Department staff also will be available to answer questions, accept breakfast/lunch payments and provide assistance with the appropriate forms.
Interpreters will be available at all buildings Monday from 3 to 6 p.m. and Tuesday from noon to 3 p.m.
Claypool Elementary open houses will be: kindergarten, Aug. 10 from 5 to 6 p.m.; grades 1 and 2, Aug. 20 from 6 to 7 p.m.; grades 3 and 4, Aug. 21 from 6 to 7 p.m.; grades 5 and 6, Aug. 23 from 6 to 7 p.m.
Eisenhower Elementary will hold an open house Aug. 10 from 3 to 5 p.m. for all grade levels. Parents may tour the building, meet the teachers and drop off school supplies during that time.
Harrison Elementary will hold a “Meet Your Teacher Night” Aug. 10 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. for all grade levels.
Jefferson Elementary will hold a “Meet the Teacher Night” Aug. 12 from 6 to 7 p.m.
Leesburg Elementary will hold an open house Aug. 10 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Lincoln Elementary’s open house is to be determined.
Madison Elementary PTO will host a “Back to School Night” Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. Come meet the new principal, Tom Kline. The Madison PTO also will host a hot dog cookout for Madison families.
Washington Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Academy will hold a “Welcome to Washington STEM Academy” event Aug. 10 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Join the staff for dinner as the Washington PTO will provide pulled pork sandwiches, salad, cookies and beverages.
Lakeview Middle School open house dates and times will be released after school begins.
Edgewood Middle School will have a parent night Aug. 22 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Warsaw Community High School will host a freshman orientation Thursday starting at 5 p.m.
