Warsaw Community Schools will conduct kindergarten pre-registration through April.

All school offices will be closed for spring break April 7-11.[[In-content Ad]]Parents of children who will be 5 years old or older by Aug. 1 and reside within the Warsaw Community Schools' district are asked to come in to the school office to receive a packet of information for kindergarten pre-registration. At this time, bring the child's immunization record.

Parents who have questions regarding the elementary school their children will attend should call the transportation department at 574-269-1750 prior to registration. The precise location (county road numbers, street number, etc.) will need to be provided to the transportation office in order to determine the correct school.

At the time of school registration in August, it will be necessary to provide the child's birth certificate, physical exam record, dental exam record and Social Security number and/or card. The hepatitis B vaccination is mandatory for all Indiana kindergartners, and the series of three injections takes at least six months to complete.

Anyone with concerns regarding registration requirements, fees or schedules should contact Assistant Superintendent Dr. Sandra Weaver at 574-371-5098, Ext. 2467, or the elementary school office. Elementary school offices may be contacted by calling: Eisenhower, 574-269-7440; Harrison, 574-269-7533; Jefferson, 574-267-7361; Leesburg, 574-453-4121; Lincoln, 574-267-7474; Madison, 574-267-6231; or Washington, 574-371-5097.
