The one-session Computer Basics classes are being offered March 4 from 1 to 3 p.m.; March 9, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.; and March 18 from 1 to 3 p.m.[[In-content Ad]]Unfortunately, many workers in the county area have been laid off from jobs they have held for sometimes decades, and left without adequate skills to enter a job pool now dominated by high technology. These classes will enable them to freshen their skills or acquire new ones.
The basics class will cover everything from how to turn on the computer to setting up an e-mail account. Registration is required and can be taken 14 days in advance. Persons can register at the adult reference desk or online at www.warsawlibrary.org
Attendees must give a 24-hour cancellation notice to allow others on the waiting list to attend.
