WCHS BPA Students Place At Nationals

Students from Warsaw Community High School attended the Business Professionals of America 2008 National Leadership Conference in Reno, Nev., May 7-11.[[In-content Ad]]The students joined more than 6,000 other conference delegates from across the nation to participate in national-level business-skill competitions, workshops, general sessions and the national officer candidate campaigns and elections. They also had the opportunity to explore the Reno/Lake Tahoe area.
To qualify for this national conference, the students must have placed in the top few places at the district level competition, then at the BPA state leadership conference that was held in March in Indianapolis.
The students that qualified and attended the BPA National Leadership Conference from Warsaw Community High School, along with their event and placement in the national high school competition, are as follows: Zane Hollar, digital media production, top 10 finalist in the nation; Keaton Petro, advanced accounting, payroll accounting, third in the nation in payroll accounting; Nicole Kuhn, Erica Ridderman, Hilary Shepherd and Lauren Smolen, financial analyst team, third in the nation.
