What an amazing season of Tiger Basketball, 25-2! We are so proud of this team. The outcome was not what you or Tiger Nation wanted, but you have nothing to hang your head about! You as a team are a class act! You may be sad now but as time goes on it will change and then you will remember all those memories made playing Tiger Basketball and the wonderful friendships you formed while playing Tiger Basketball. Those are the times you will look back on and cherish, laugh about and someday tell your family about, the tradition of playing Tiger Basketball. Those will be proud moments to you all.
This Tiger team accomplished so much. You were: 1. NLC Champs two years in a row – that’s big and not easy to do; 2. Sectional champs; and 3. Regional champs. This Tiger team surprised a lot of people this year – they never expected you as a team to go far – you proved them wrong! You were a great group of guys to watch play. You played as a team, you played unselfish basketball, you played with pose, you respected all and feared none. You were coachable and you never gave up!
Thank you to the coaches for all the time and dedication you put into Tiger Basketball, and thank you for all the wonderful values that you instill in these young men that they can use on the court, but mostly in life.
Thank you for letting me be a part of Tiger Basketball. I’ve enjoyed every moment that I’ve experienced with this team. It’s something I will treasure forever and hold dear to my heart.
To the seniors, we wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Reach for your dreams and never let anyone tell you can’t! Remember live life to the fullest and cherish your family and friends.
We can’t wait until next season!
