MIDDLEBURY - The Wawasee Warriors got back on the winning track when they defeated Northern Lakes Conference opponent Northridge 14-7 Friday in Middlebury.

The Warriors jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter when Logan Lees ran 16 yards for the first Wawasee touchdown.

Wawasee struck again in the second when Lees scored a 22-yard touchdown to put the Warriors up 14-0.

Wawasee is now 2-1 and 1-0 in the NLC while Northridge falls to 0-3 overall and 0-1 in the NLC.
